Radar → sweep near the tower → carry it home before the break timer → hatch. Repeat until it is a Fox.
Meet the Fox
In community stat tables the Fox sits in B tier: a reported 1 in 21M hatch odds, 19.5K base speed and 1,200 base income. Player videos call it the moment “the game starts feeling fast” — a clear jump beyond Deer or Kangaroo, and still realistic to chase mid-game. See where it places in the pet tier list.
It hatches from the Glass Egg — not a stall
You do not buy a Fox. It hatches from the Glass Egg, a Legendary world egg with a reported 10K luck bonus, documented by IGN and Beebom. The same egg also hatches the Horse, which makes one Glass Egg farm cover your first two rebirths.
Where Glass Eggs show up
Community videos report Glass Eggs most often near the tower, in the mid-distance ring around the plot — “not too far, not too close”. The shell is see-through, so they are genuinely easy to miss: move slowly, keep the camera pulled back, and let a radar do half the work. The community wiki reports world egg spawns rotate roughly every 8 minutes, so a cleared area is worth re-checking.
Why you want it early: Rebirth 2
Beebom’s rebirth table lists Rebirth 2 as $500M cash plus a Fox. Since the Horse covers Rebirth 1 from the same egg, a Glass Egg loop is the fastest path through both gates. Our rebirth guide covers what resets, what stays and when to press the button.
The hatch route, step by step
The route players use, drawn from Glass Egg how-to videos and Beebom’s hatch walkthrough — four steps, repeated until the hatch is a Fox.
Buy one at the gear shop — the Advanced Radar is reported at around $50 — and follow its marker instead of wandering.
Glass Eggs are reported near the tower and the area between your plot and the far map. The see-through shell hides in grass and rock, so move with your camera wide.
Every carried egg is on a countdown. Dismount at your plot, drop it in an open nest, and let it grow.
If the hatch is not a Fox, hatch the next Glass Egg. Keep every nest cooking and index a copy before you sell spares.
Fox odds and stats are community-reported by GameBoost and Beebom; the Glass Egg route follows player how-to videos (September 2026). Not official developer data; odds can change with updates. Source check: 1 Oct 2026.
Fox questions, straight answers
Which egg hatches the Fox in Ride A Pet? +
The Glass Egg — a Legendary world egg with a reported 10K luck bonus. You find Glass Eggs on the map and hatch them at your plot; the Fox is not sold at a stall.
How rare is the Fox? +
Player-reported stats put the Fox at 1 in 21M hatch odds, with 19.5K base speed and 1,200 base income. Community videos call it the pet “where the game starts feeling fast”.
Where do Glass Eggs spawn? +
Community videos report they often appear near the tower, in the mid-distance ring around the plot — not right next to it. The shell is see-through, which makes Glass Eggs easy to walk past. A radar helps.
Why does everyone want a Fox early? +
The Fox is the required pet for Rebirth 2 alongside $500M cash. Because it comes from the same Glass Egg as the Horse (Rebirth 1), one egg farm covers both milestones.
Can I buy the Fox with Robux? +
No shop-sold Fox has been documented. Third-party sites selling pets or accounts break Roblox’s rules and are a scam risk — our scripts & safety page covers the pattern.
